Dear Prayer Partners,

PRAISE GOD WITH US!!!! Yesterday we had a court hearing to continue the process of Dylan’s adoption. This was just supposed to be a step towards finalization, not to actually finalize. However, God works miracles! Our lawyer was prepared with all the paperwork to finalize the adoption and she made a plea to the judge to complete it all that day. The judge agreed and we were able to finalize yesterday!

God is so good! We are finally done with the process and Dylan Lee Bechtel is completely ours! Thank you to everyone for their prayers for us during this time and for asking God for a miracle. He answers prayer.

Please continue your prayers for us though. We have to wait for the birth certificate to come through so that we can process his Social Security Number and passport in order for us to be able to leave for Kenya. We really need to be in Kenya by the 1st of July, but the birth certificate and SSN could take 2-3 weeks each. We have asked for it to be rushed, but we are praying that God will bring it through quickly and we can be on our way back to Africa. God has done amazing things through this whole process and we know he will continue to bless for His glory.

Thank you again for your support and prayers for our ministry. We are humbled that God would work so greatly in our lives and we are truly blessed to be a part of what he is doing in Kenya.
