Join us in taking the KING OF KINGS
to the land of the king.
Our Purpose
Without clear preaching of God's Word, a people will come to ruin. A
wise man said, "Where there is no vision, the people perish: but
he that keepeth the law, happy is he." (Proverbs 29:18)
For many years in Kenya, the Word of God has had free course among
the people, but the coast of Kenya has been virtually neglected by
most evangelical groups due to the high Muslim population. When
nationals have been saved, there has been a lack of discipleship and
leadership training which has lead to churches that teach a mixture
of Christianity, Islam, and traditional beliefs. The people are
confused and need someone who is willing to tell them the real TRUTH
of the Gospel message.
Therefore, there is a great need for evangelism, discipleship,
church planting and leadership training among the African and Asian
population who are traditionally Muslim, Hindu, or Christian
(non-saved church goers).
Our Purpose is to glorify God in Kenya by winning lost people
to the Lord and equipping them to open His Word and declare His
glory to their own countrymen. This can only be done through the
biblical training of men and women and the establishing of local New
Testament churches.
Our Passion
There are more than 29 million souls in Kenya. Many people have
never heard a clear presentation of the gospel. Even though there
has been true Christian witness in Kenya for many years, the average
Kenyan has been taught that they can work their way to heaven
through good works and following traditional acts of worship.
The darkness can be seen in the exotic town of Mombasa which is rich
in historical buildings and traditions. For every soul's deep
religious hunger there are cultic groups waiting to teach them a lie
that is disguised as truth. Satan's grip on the culture and customs
runs deep. There are centuries of religious traditions that leave a
nearly impenetrable web of lies that deceive the people from the
moment they are born till the day they die.
Our Passion is to bring the liberating message of the Gospel
which will free these people who are desperately looking for hope in
what seems like a hopeless situation. They are waiting to hear about
the true and only God, Jesus Christ. We want to be the ones to give
them the wonderful hope of the gospel.
Our Plan
It will not be an easy task to infiltrate the culture of Mombasa. They
are people deeply committed to family and their traditional religions.
To reach them, we must establish relationships with them and teach them
to trust us. After a friendship is in place, we believe that God will
give us the opportunity to present the Gospel to these loving people. We
have counted the cost and are willing to go the distance with the help
and power of God and the prayers of His people.
Our Plan is to train and work with young men in Kenya to plant
churches. We will endeavor with God's help to plant one church at a time
by reaching young men for Christ, then training them through the Faith
Baptist Bible College of Kenya. Upon graduation, we will help these
pastors to start churches all over the coast region of Kenya.
Thank you for your help in helping our vision become a reality. We
appreciate your prayers!
Our Testimony
Bobby: When I was six years old, my father had the privilege of
showing me from the Bible how to be saved by believing in Jesus Christ.
It is something that I will never forget. After getting a degree in
Education from Liberty University, the Lord called me to be a
missionary. I enrolled and graduated from Baptist Bible Graduate School
of Theology in Springfield, Missouri with a Master in Missions. After
much prayer, the Lord gave our family the deep concern for the country
of Kenya. In May 2005 our son, Ethan was born in Guatemala and in
December 2005, God blessed our family with the completion of his
adoption. We are so happy that God has provided us with such a wonderful
child. We want to win people, disciple them and build self-supporting
churches for Jesus Christ.
Lisa: I was saved when I was four years old, and grew up in a
wonderful Christian home. God was always an important part of my life,
and I loved being involved in church, and helping other people come to
Christ. When I was in eighth grade, God placed the burden in my heart to
be a missionary. After graduating from high school, I went to Baptist
Bible College in Springfield, Missouri to study Missions. God impressed
my husband and I with a burden for the people in the country of Kenya.
Our greatest desire is to see them saved, and become dedicated, obedient
children of God.
