Dear Praying Friends,

We went to Bouake on Friday and had good success. We were able to get the few remaining things that we'd left behind, see a lot of people, get most everything that the Pastors could round up of their remaining belongings and get back to Yamoussoukro on the same day. Not bad.

I did get a chance to talk with Konate, (the rebel leader responsible for my car), but he laughed in my face. I persisted a little and he got mad and told how they'd imprisoned one guy that wanted to insist that they return his car. I let it go when I could see that it was going nowhere. At some later date I'll try a different tack and try again. We'll see...

The Pastors were all happy to retrieve what few remaining things that they could. When one has nothing, even the most meager things become very important. Please pray for them. Each of the three of them have started new works and arrived with nearly nothing. It makes things extremely difficult for all of us.

Thank you for your prayer. Everyone was amazed at how smooth the trip went, and I'm sure that it was God's favor at your request.

God Bless,
Tim Downs
