We are still hard at work on the wall fence. The wall fence will provide protection from thieves in the night.

The electrical pole in front of the bathrooms is a welcome sight. Calvary Baptist church now has electricity at the church. Now they can have security lighting to go along with the protective fence.

We mix cement by hand on the ground as you can see. Right now we are paying $20.00 per 100lb. Bag of cement; I sure miss quickrete at $4.00 per bag. God has blessed us with experienced block layers. The wall is looking good!

A milling company moved in next door and put up their own wall fence. They provided the whole east side. God blesses in so many ways. Some of the employees from the milling co. have visited the church.

The members of Calvary Baptist Church are giving to a special “building fund” project to beautify the interior of the church. As you can see, the difference is a great improvement to the building. Keep in mind the average income for a Zambian man or woman is $1.00 per day. This is the church where Daniel the guard was severely beaten over the glass in the windows.

We are excited to see the wall go up, and hopefully some day soon, it will be completed. We still need about $7,000 dollars to finish this project. The cost of building materials has skyrocketed over the past few months. Pray God will provide for this special project.

Continue to pray for the Johnson’s as we serve the Lord in Zambia, Africa. We are truly blesses to be called into His work, and do His will. We could not be here without faithful friends like you giving to His work. God bless you all.

How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel
of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!  Romans 10:15b
