Prayer Letter
FEBRUARY 2011
Dear Pastor and praying friends,
The holidays are nice, but glad when they are over. We have
been keeping in touch with Faith Baptist Church in Zambia,
and things are going well. The church is not growing, but
not losing members either. We left the church in very
capable hands when we left Zambia last year, and are happy
for them.
Curtis has been been scheduling churches to
report to and trying to pick up a little more needed
support. The calendar is filling up and we have picked up 2
churches that want to have a part in our ministry. Praise
the Lord!
Juliana is busy tending to Brandon’s
homeschool work, and working around the house. While we were
on deputation, we didn’t have a house, so we traveled
constantly. God provided a home for us and it’s nice to have
a place to hang our hat. The home-cooked meals especially
through the holidays were a blessing as well.
Hollianne started the nursing program at
Pensacola Christian College in September and is doing great.
At the end of her first semester she made the President’s
list on her grades. She came home for the holidays and we
enjoyed her time here. It’s a blessing to know that God has
called her to do what she is doing. This will make it easier
on all of us when we return to Zambia this year. We will
miss her, but she is very focused on her task at hand.
Brandon is keeping busy also. He
home-schools, and meets with a small group of teens that
also home-school. He has an awesome time in his youth group
at our home church, and is looking forward to summer camp. I
can see a lot of maturity in Brandon since we have been
home, and we are proud of him.
We are on furlough until the first of July 2011. We can’t
report to everyone, but will see as many churches that we
can. We have several open dates and our calendar is filling
up fast. Please call us if we don’t call you first
806-418-9102, and we will try to report to your church.
We do have a special need that needs to be addressed in the
next few months. Our truck was stolen from our property and
wrecked 3 times. The damage is extensive and will cost
between $3000. and $4000. dollars to repair. This is our
only vehicle and will need to be repaired upon our arrival
back into the country. Please pray about helping with this
matter.
