WHAT WE BELIEVE
ABOUT GOD
We believe that there is one God. He is the Creator and Ruler of
the universe. He has eternally existed in three persons: the
Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

ABOUT JESUS CHRIST
We believe that Jesus Christ was born of the virgin Mary by the
power of the Holy Spirit and the He is the Son of God. He is
co-equal with the Father. Jesus lived a sinless human life and
offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all men
by dying on a cross. He arose from the dead after three days to
demonstrate His power over sin and death. He ascended to
Heaven's glory and will return again to earth to reign as King
of kings, and Lord of lords.

ABOUT THE HOLY
SPIRIT
We believe that the Holy Spirit is equal with the Father and the
Son as God. He lives in every Christian from the moment of
salvation. He provides the Christian with power for living,
understanding of spiritual truth, and guidance in doing what is
right. He gives every Christian a gift to use in the church.
Every Christian should seek to live under His control daily.

ABOUT THE BIBLE
We believe the Bible is God's word to all men. It was written by
human authors, under the supernatural guidance of the Holy
Spirit. We believe that the Bible is the supreme source of truth
for Christian beliefs and living. Because it is inspired by God,
it is truth without any mixture of error.

ABOUT MAN
We believe that man is made in the spiritual image of God, to be
like Him in character. Man was created by God to rule over all
creation and to bring praise and glory to God. We believe that
man rebelled against God, choosing to rule over himself rather
than allowing God to rule in his life. This rebellion of man is
called sin. It is this sin which separates man from God and
brings upon him the troubles of life.

ABOUT SALVATION, THE GIFT OF
GOD
Salvation is a gift from God to man, but we must receive that
gift. It is impossible to obtain that gift for ourselves by good
works or anything that we can do, but only by Jesus Christ. Only
by trusting in Jesus Christ as God's offer of forgiveness can
man be saved from sin's penalty. If we turn from our desire to
rule over ourselves and turn to Jesus in faith, we receive
eternal life which begins the moment one receives Jesus Christ
into his life as Savior.

ABOUT ETERNAL LIFE
Because God gives man eternal life through Jesus Christ, the
believer is secure in salvation for eternity. Once saved, it is
impossible to be lost again. Salvation is maintained by the
grace and power of God, not by the self-effort of the Christian.
It is the grace and keeping power of God that gives this
security, that our salvation is for all eternity, as the Bible
says.

ABOUT THINGS TO COME
Mankind was created by God to live forever. After this life on
earth, we will continue to live. Either we will live separated
from God because of our sin, or we will live eternally with God
because of forgiveness of sin and salvation in Jesus Christ.
Those who do not receive Christ and His salvation will go to a
place called Hell. Those who do receive Christ and His salvation
will live forever in a place called Heaven.
