Summer/Fall 2003
Fundamental Baptist Church of Boulwando was started in July of 2003. After a
plea by the Naba (chief) of the village (pictured at the right
with one of his fathers). We started a weekend of
evangelism commencing with the very first church services in
this village.

Our first services were held
under a tree, then two different trees; one for the adults and
another one for the children’s ministries. Click any picture for a

Sunday school classes |
Sensing the need for something a little more
permanent, we built a small “hanger” to hold our services. The
children continued to meet under a tree for Sunday school
classes.

Our
first baptism saw 16 people baptized in a small holding tank for
water which we “borrowed” from the local public school. We had
over one hundred and forty in attendance, with several visiting
Naba’s (chiefs) from neighboring villages “assisting” us.
