Dear Friends,

Mary and I trust that you had a wonderful weekend and Easter season. Admittedly, our attendance was a bit down due to people traveling, sickness, and some indifference to church attendance on the holiday. However, the services for Easter Sunday at Bible Baptist Church of Olorien, were electrifying! Even though down by about 25% for the day, the people who were there...were pumped! Four choirs sang...all with resurrection themes and haleluya’s. Two people accepted Christ as Savior at invitation time, and many were at the altars rededicating themselves to the work of the Lord and to a closer walk with Him. What a blessing!

Today, Mary and I are packing up and getting ready for the week long annual Baptist Bible Mission of Tanzania meeting! Every year after Easter, we meet together for prayer, preaching, singing and worship in our own language, as well as planning and strategizing for youth camps, Bible College, and other “mission” activities. It’s a wonderful time for us. Several of you have contributed to this years meeting expenses. Thank you SOOO much! The discount to the team will be much appreciated and you will hear from us again soon. I know many of you have been praying for us as we previously requested. Please continue to do so as we begin the meeting in a few hours. Pray that God will build us up in our faith, in our work, and in our fellowship together, revitalizing us for the continued work ahead.

Mary and I really appreciate those of you who take the time to read and to pray for the “going’s on” over here. We sincerely do count you a part of “Team Tanzania” in this way. Thanks for all you do! God bless and give you a great week.

Yours in Tanzania,
Vernon and Mary
