We have water!
Thanks to generous donations from Kelview
Heights BC in Midland, TX and
Calvary BC in Taylorville, IL, two African churches
have their own wells! Believe it or not, it’s cheaper to dig a
well by hand, rather than by machine. These two projects were
done for $3,000. Mikoroshoni Bible
Baptist Church in Shanzu and
Calvary Baptist Church of Mtwapa each have their own
water source. Before this, the
pastors had to buy water from men using push carts loaded with
20 gallon plastic containers. Sometimes, the price of water
was 75 cents per container. That may not sound expensive to
you, but this was water they used for drinking, bathing,
cooking, washing dishes and clothes, etc. You have taken a
heavy financial burden off these families ministering in
impoverished areas. Thanks, also,
to Fellowship BC in Augusta, ME
and Seminole BT in Springfield,
MO. We are having electricity brought to both churches using
$1,000 from Fellowship, and hopefully, we will be able to
install water pumps with the donation from Seminole. Your help
with these projects is greatly appreciated! This is
greatly improving the standard of living
for the Karanjas in Shanzu and the Barasas in Mtwapa, and
extending the outreach of these
churches. May God multiply His
blessings to all of you for supporting our family and
ministry! The Windells
