We have not updated
our Dassasgo page since our move in June. Here are
some pictures of the Fundamental Baptist Church of Dassasgo
for first two Sunday services in August. Click any picture
for a closer look. Use your browser's back button to

Voici, our new
building (house), which also houses the Fundamental Baptist
Institute of Ouagadougou, and new home of the Fundamental
Baptist Church of Dassasgo. It is much bigger than our
previous home in an office space, and will provide an
opportunity for further growth.
Here is our sign that, unfortunately, stills needs a lot of
work. Adama OUÉDRAOGO, along with his brother, Madi, have
indicated a strong desire to redo the work of a
“professional” that was hired to paint our sign. Hopefully
we can get this sign worked on in the very near future.

Because we are now the
sole occupants of this house, whereas previously we rented
an office space on the second floor of a larger complex, we
are responsible for the security of our members and
visitors; including their mobylettes and bicycles. Each week
one of our men take turns being the “portier and guardian de
parking” (the greeter and parking guard).

This
week Noël BADO, one of our IBFO students, had
the pleasure of greeting our visitors and
guarding the bicycles. |
Our
parking space, which we will soon turn into the
teenage girls’ class taught by our daughters,
Hannah and Rebekah. |
Our daughter Rachel
has been teaching the Junior Church along with one of the
men from the Institute to act as a translator into Mooré.
She started out with a handful of children when we moved
into our new building and has seen it climb to a high of
forty-eight children, with an average of thirty-five.

Abdoulaye OUÉDRAOGO,
who has been very faithful since his
salvation July 20, 2005 during our street
witnessing. Ghislain NAGALO has started our
discipleship program with him. Since
Abdoulaye cannot read and write, and his
French is limited, it will be a difficult
mountain to climb, but one that Abdoulaye is
determined to conquer.

Timothée
KABORÉ, with his son, Noé.
He has started the Institute while
working full-time as a nurse. |
We love
to “talk” after the services.
It is a fruitful time to find out
about each other’s spiritual growth. |

In the photo to the right is
David KORGO (right), who has exhibited
faithfulness and a desire to serve the Lord
since his profession of faith May 18, 2005,
with Christène SINGBEOGO (center), who accepted
Christ just before her return to her
village, and Étienne BOUGMA (left), who made a
profession of faith June 17, 2005. Christène
and David, (along with Paul SAYOUGA,
Douninoma KORGO, Marguerite SAYOUGA and
Dominike SAYOUGA), are from the village of
Kougdoughin, which is close to Boulwando.
