Living among one of the poorest countries in the
world produces a lot of educational difficulties. It is possible to earn
a four year degree at the University of Ouagadougou while never having
owned a single textbook during those four years.
The problem is greatly increased for theological training. The tools
needed for a sound, Biblically based theology degree is sorely lacking
and the resources for the national pastors are even more limited.
It is the goal of the Fundamental Baptist Institute of Ouagadougou to
produce sound, fundamental Baptist preachers and missionaries among the Burkinabé.

We want to develop a viable, vibrant and vital Institute. It will be
viable when its students can confront their culture with Biblically
based convictions. It will be vibrant when its graduates are able to
define and defend their convictions and transmit them
to their
individual churches. It will be vital if its graduates
can maintain those same Biblically based convictions in the midst of the
ecumenical confusion running rampant. AND this cannot become a reality
without the necessary tools for the Fundamental Baptist Institute of
Ouagadougou.
For a modest investment of finances the I.B.F.O. can purchase the needed
office and school supplies as well as, and more importantly, theological
textbooks. Would you be willing to invest in the future of the Burkinabé?
