Dear Friends,

We are most grateful to those of you that have given to our housing project.  We still have a long way to go.  As of December 2008, we have received $10,671.10 of the estimated $80,000.00 required.  As you can see there is still time for you to support us in this endeavor (details are below)

With much unrest throughout the region of West Africa, Ouagadougou continues to experience exponential growth.  (When we first started deputation ten years ago Ouagadougou’s population was listed as just under 500,000 people.  Today Ouaga’s population exceeds 2,500,000 people.) This tremendous increase in population has created a housing shortage that has greatly increased the price of available housing.  If we do not seek to find something permanent for our family we may be priced out of the area.
